Is it safe to order online?
Teknowebworks.com uses 2checkout.com, Inc and Paypal.com 2Checkout.com, Inc. as authorized retailer of Teknowebworks.com, you will be charged a recurring payment every month on the same date by those companies. We do not store or have access to your credit card informationinformation. Both Paypal and 2checkout allow you to instnatly cancel a subscription payment.
What is web site hosting?
It is a way for you to place information on the internet via a unqiue address (www.yourdomian.com)
How do I start?
First, you have to decide if you would like (www.yourname.com) or (yourname.teknowebworks.com). If you want yourdomain.com you must purches your domain name at a place such as www.godaddy.com or www.active-domain.com. If you already own a domain all you need to do is point your DNS to our servers. If you want yourname.teknowebworks.com there is no added costs invovled.
How fast can I get my site up?
Once you paid through 2checkout.com/Paypal using debit or credit/debit card on the order page, you can start using the system right away. In rare cases some account/domain names requier manual addition to our system, this will take generally 2-24 hours for you to be able to start uploading. When you do change your DNS to our servers it takes 2-4 days for your domain to resolve to your new site.
Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?
You pay monthly. You can cancel at any time by emailing sales@teknowebworks.com. No long term contracts, no upfront hidden costs, no hassels.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
Yes. If for any reason during the first 10 days you are no happy with your service, we will cancel and refund your credit card. However, we reserve the right to keep your money if your account has been suspended due to TOS violations.
I see some hosts offering "unlimited bandwidth", why don't you?
Most hosts who claim to be either have fine print such as "for normal use sites" or oversell their bandwith making downloads and uploads very slow. They normally end up charging you more for non normal use than any plans you can find anywhere else.
Is my data safe, do you back up?
We do a full backup once a month, we encorage our users to make their own backups as well.
How fast is your connection?
We specialize in media hosting therefor we are designed to do so, we have a multi homed XO & Above net connections at our disposal. All of our servers are connected to a 100 Mb/s connection. Generally speaking, if you think we are slow it will be on your end!
Can you host warez sites, adult sites or sites containing illegal material?
No! You will be terminated without notice.
Do you host mp3s?
We host mp3 only if you are the owner (i.e. original matrial), all illegal or pirated mp3s are grounds for termination.
